Items to check when the "Returning..." message is displayed *The "Returning..." message is displayed when returning to the measurement start position from the detector unit retraction state. If the return is not completed, the message will remain displayed.
(1) If the "Returning..." message is displayed and measurement cannot be performed, please check if the detector unit and cable are connected tightly.
(2) Check if the "detector unit retraction" is performed properly.
・SJ-210 detector unit retraction procedure: With the power off, press the [POWER/DATA] key while holding down the [START/STOP] key.
・SJ-310 detector unit retraction procedure: Press [Retract] in [Main Menu] on the touch panel.
If the above checks do not result in normal operation and an error message still appears, repair is required. Please contact the dealer where you purchased the product.
